The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has recently released the official notification for the recruitment of warders and matrons. This board conducts several examinations for recruiting personnel. Recently, it has released notification to conduct examinations for the post of warder and matron. It has issued a total of 847 vacancies of which 815 are for warder(only males) and 32 for Matron(only females). Interested candidates are required to fill the exam online and print their admit cards with the help of a registration number and password.

Educational Eligibility:
Education qualification required for the post of Warder and Matron is given below:

Warder - 12th passed with Punjabi up to 10th as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in the Punjabi language which may be specified by the Government from time to time.

Candidates need to clear physical measurement test (PMT) and its requirements are mentioned below:

PSSSB Salary Structure
PSSSB has also mentioned the pay scale for the warder and matron in their official notification. Candidates who will clear the exam will be entitled to the pay scale as described in the notification. The initial pay scale for both warder and matron is Rs 19,900.

Ans: You can apply for this exam online by visiting the official website of PSSSB and filling the necessary details on the form carefully. Afterwards, you can download your admit card by filling in your registration number and password.
Ques2. What is the last date for the online application of this exam?
Ans: You can fill this form online upto 31 May 2021 ( upto 5 PM). Last date for paying fee through bank challan is 2 June 2021.
Ques3. What is education eligibility to apply for PSSSB Warder/Matron exam?
Ans: Candidates who have passed 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized education board and have opted punjabi as compulsory subject in 10th class are eligible to fill this exam.

Ans: Candidates need to qualify at least 40 % marks in the written test. Objective-type questions will be asked in the written exam. Additionally, candidates need to clear the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
