Hostel Superintendent Cum PTI Recruitment 2022

The official notification for the recruitment of the Hostel Superintendent Cum PTI 2022 has been released on the official website of PSSSB.  The board is going to recruit candidates for 31 posts in PSSSB this year.  The online application form will be available to the candidates on the official websites i.e. sssb.punjab.gov.in from 22 May 2022. The last date to apply for the exam is 11 July 2022. All the interested candidates can fill out the application form after checking the official notification. Important Dates

• The  online application forms will be available on the official website from 22 May 2022

• Last date for submitting online application forms is 11 July 2022(up to 5:00 pm)

• Last date to pay the application fees is 14 July 2022( up to 5:00 pm)

Educational Qualification

• The candidate should be matriculate in second division or should pass 12th from the recognized university/institution. 

• The candidate should possess a certificate in physical education (C.P.Ed) from a recognized University or Institution. Preference shall be given to the candidate possessing a Diploma in Physical Education from a recognized University or Institution; and

• Should possess a working experience for a minimum period of two years. 

• The candidate must have passed the matriculation with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject, or any other examination in Punjabi language. 

Age Limit

• For the candidates belonging to the general category, the minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 37 years. 

• For SC/BC category in Punjab, the maximum age should be 42 years

• The maximum age limit for candidates with disabilities in Punjab will be 47 years.

• The upper age limit for widows, divorcees, and other categories of married women as per instructions issued by the Government of Punjab will be relaxed up to 40 years. 

• The upper age limit for the ex-serviceman will be decided on the basis of the Punjab Recruitment of ex-servicemen Rules. 

Appliation Fee 

• General category/ Freedom Fighter/ Sports: Rs. 1000/-

• SC/Bc/EWS: Rs. 250/-

• Ex-servicemen and dependent: Rs. 200/-

Salary Details

• The pay scale is Rs. 29200/-

Selection Process

Every candidate must obtain 40% in the written exam to be considered eligible for further processing.

Important instructions to keep in mind

• The candidate must have received the qualifying degree certificate from the recognized organization/university. 

• The candidate must have passed 10th with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in the Punjabi language.

• The candidate must fill out the application form through the official website of the board. 

• The data filled in the application form will not be changed once submitted. 

• The number of vacancies can be increased or decreased by the board at any time. 

• The candidate must visit the official website of the board frequently to get themselves updated on the latest information. 

The reasons for the rejection of the application form

• Not making payment before the last date to submit fees

• Filling the mandatory instructions incorrectly

• Not completing the application form

• Not matching the eligibility criteria. 

• Submitting the online application forms through invalid ways

How To Apply

Step 1: Go to the official website of the board (sssb.punjab.gov.in).

Step 2: After clicking on the application form link, the crucial instructions to fill out the form will appear on the screen.

Step 3: After reading the instructions, the candidate must register himself first by filling in the details.

Step 4: The candidate will receive a username and password after registration.

Step 5: The candidate must log in with provided username and password to complete the application form.

Step 6: Note that uploading passport size photograph, signatures, and certificates in supported file formats are mandatory. 

Step 7: Only after uploading the files successfully, the candidate will be requested to pay the fees.

Step 8: The candidate on the third day after submitting the online application form can pay the fees by net banking, UPI, credit card, and debit card through any branch of State Bank of India. 

Step 9: The online application form will be considered completed only after the payment of fees. 

The last date to make the payment of fees is 14 July 2022.

The candidates must upload a scanned copy of passport size photo( not older than 3 months), signature, 10th standard certificate, and qualifying exam certificate to complete the form. The supported file formats are .jpg, .png and .gif only and the file size should be up to 100 kb only.
