Essential Qualifications
Here are the essential qualifications required to apply for the post of Draftsman Architect (Group B):

The candidate must possess a diploma in Architecture in the First Division awarded by a State Board of Technical Education or any other Institution recognized by AICTE.
Or
Higher Qualification in the same discipline i.e. Degree in Architecture & above from a Recognized University / Institution.

The candidate must possess at least one hundred and twenty hours course with hands-on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity Applications including specialized application software like AUTO - CAD etc. from a Govt . recognized institution or a reputed institution, which is ISO 9001 , certified.
Or
Certification in the usage of Computers equivalent to ' O ' level certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses ( DOEACC ) of Government of India and has working knowledge in specialized application software like AUTO - CAD etc.
Note: The candidate applying for the post of Draftsman Architect(Group B) should have passed Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard.

The written competitive exam for the post of Draftsman Architect(Group B) will be conducted in an offline mode on the OMR sheet.
