PSSSB Clerk Recruitment 2022
Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board(PSSSB) has declared a notification for the post of Clerk, Clerk IT and Clerk Accounts. Total 735 vacancies are announced by the PSSSB. Out of 735, 704 vacancies are declared for the post of Clerk, 10 vacancies are declared for the post of Clerk IT and 21 vacancies are declared for the post of Clerk Accounts. Willing and eligible candidates can apply for this post from 29 June 2022 to 29 July 2022 till 5 pm.

Educational Qualification
1. The required educational qualification for the post of Clerk is given below:

The candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University or Institution;
-
The candidate must possess at least one hundred and twenty hours course with hands-on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing applications from a Government recognised institution or a reputed institution, which is ISO 9001 certified. OR Possesses a Computer Information Technology course equivalent to ‘O’ Level certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC) of Government of India.

The candidate must have passed matriculation with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects.
2. The required educational qualification for the post of Clerk IT under the department of Dairy Development is given below:

The candidate should possess a degree in Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology OR Electronics and Communication Or Computer Science from a recognized university.
Or
The candidate should possess a Master’s Degree in computer Applications from a recognized university.

The candidate must have passed matriculation with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects.
3. The required educational qualification for the post of Clerk IT under the Excise and Taxation department is given below:

The candidate should be a bachelor’s degree holder in Computer Application / Information Technology/ Computer Engineering / Computer Technology from a recognized University or Institution.

The candidate must have passed matriculation with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects.
4. The required educational qualification for the post of Clerk Accounts under the Science and Technology department is given below:

The candidate must hold at least IInd class Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from a recognized university and should have at least two years of working experience of computers. Preference will be given to persons having experience in Accounts Work in a Government Department/Public Sector Undertakings Large Industrial House.

The candidate must have undergone a computer course of six months duration from a reputed institute.

The candidate must have passed matriculation with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects.

The Initial Pay Scale for the post of Clerk, Clerk IT and Clerk Accounts is 19,900/- as per 7th central pay commission.
