Educational Qualification
The applicant should possess a degree of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent thereto from a recognized university. He/she should have passed the matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the subjects and must have proficiency in the operation of Computers.
Note: The applicant should fulfill the condition of qualification on the last date of receipt of application i.e. 27.08.2022 (last date of online Registration)

Selection Process
There are two phases the candidates have to sail through to get selected for the post of Punjab and Haryana High Court Clerk. The first step is an online written examination (computer based test). Candidates need to attempt this exam carefully as there is 1/4th negative marking for each incorrect answer. After that, the selected candidates will be called to appear for the computer proficiency test. The Computer Proficiency Test comprises two parts. In Part-I, aspirants need to qualify the SpreadSheet Test which is of 10 marks and of 10 minutes duration by securing 40% or more i.e. 4 or more marks. In Part-II, aspirants need to qualify the Computer Typing Test in English at the speed of 30 W.P.M.

How to Apply
Candidates who aim to apply for the post of Punjab and Haryana High Court Clerk can follow the below-mentioned procedure:
Step 1: Visit the official website that is sssc.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the online application.
Step 3: Click on the link to apply for the post of Clerk.
Step 4: A new window will open, click the ‘Register’ button and fill in the required details to receive the User ID and Password.
Step 5: Candidates will receive the User ID and Password on the registered email address and or on the registered mobile number. Overseas candidates will receive both User ID and Password on registered email address.
Step 6: Candidates can login with the User ID and Password to complete the application form for SSC exam.
Step 7: Candidates must provide Correct Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email Address as these details cannot be changed once the registration is completed.
Step 8: Submit required documents.
Step 9: Pay online fees and submit the form by clicking on the ‘Submit’ button.
