Essential Qualifications
To be eligible for the post of SSC Scientific Assistant, the candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Physics as one of the subjects)/Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Applications OR Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized Institution, University or equivalent.
NOTE-I: The candidate must have completed the Degree or Diploma referred above in First Class (60% marks) or 6.75 CGPA on a 10 point scale.
NOTE-II: The qualifying Degree or Diploma mentioned above must be of three years duration after the 12th examination.
NOTE-III: The candidate must have passed the 12th Examination from a Recognized Board or equivalent in Science with Physics and Mathematics as core subjects.
Age Limit
The applicant must not exceed 30 years of age to apply for the post of SSC Scientific Assistant. Well, the applicants from the below-mentioned reserved categories will get age relaxation:
