PSSSB Storekeeper Recruitment 2022

Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board has issued the official notification for the recruitment of PSSSB storekeepers 2022. There are a total of 13 vacancies for the storekeepers in PSSSB this year.  All the interested candidates can fill out the online application form through the official website of the board ( sssb.punjab.gov.in) from 22 May 2022. The last day to submit the application form is 11 July 2022. The candidates are advised to check the official notification before filling out the online application form. Important Dates

• Starting date to fill out the application form is 22  May 2022

• Last date for submitting online application forms is 11 July 2022 (up to 5:00 pm)

• Last date to pay the application fees is 14 July 2022 ( up to 5:00 pm)

Educational Qualification

• The candidate should be matriculate in 2nd class or 10+2 from a recognized University or Institution. 

• The candidate should possess National Trade Certificate/National Apprenticeship Certificate in Any Engineering Trade and 

• Should possess at least one year experience of storekeeping in Engineering Stores. 

• The candidate must have passed the matriculation with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject, or any other examination in Punjabi language. 

Age Limit

Note that the workers of  state and central Govt. have to receive the NOC from their department to get the age relaxation and must show the NOC during the document verification process. For more details on the Age Limit, check the official notification.

Fees Details

• General category/ Freedom Fighter/ Sports: Rs. 1000/-

• SC/Bc/EWS: Rs. 250/-

• Ex-servicemen and dependent: Rs. 200/-

Salary Details

• The pay scale for the post of storekeeper is 19900.

Reservation For Categories 

The board is going to recruit candidates for 13 posts of storekeeper in 2022. 

Selection Process

• Written Examination( Objective Type Questions)

• Documents verification

• Medical test

Every candidate must obtain 40% in the written exam to be considered eligible for further processing. 

The syllabus and  the exam pattern of the exam will be uploaded on the official website of the board. 

Important Instructions 

• The candidate must have received the qualifying degree certificate from the recognized organization/university. 

• The candidate must have passed 10th with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in the Punjabi language.

• The candidate must fill out the application form through the official website of the board. 

• The data filled in the application form will not be changed once submitted. 

• The number of vacancies can be increased or decreased by the board at any time. 

• The candidate must visit the official website of the board frequently to get themselves updated on the latest information. 

The application form will be considered rejected if the candidate 

• Has not made payment before the last date to submit fees

• Has filled the mandatory instructions incorrectly

• Has not completed the application form

• Doesn’t match the eligibility criteria. 

• Has submitted the online application forms through invalid ways

How To Apply

Step 1: Go to the official website of the board (sssb.punjab.gov.in).

Step 2: After clicking on the application form link, the crucial instructions to fill out the form will appear on the screen.

Step 3: After reading the instructions, the candidate must register himself first by filling in the details.

Step 4: The candidate will receive a username and password after registration.

Step 5: The candidate must log in with provided username and password to complete the application form.

Step 6: Note that uploading passport size photograph, signature, and certificates in supported file formats are mandatory. 

Step 7: Only after uploading the files successfully, the candidate will be requested to pay the fees.

Step 8: The candidate on the third day after submitting the online application form can pay the fees by net banking, UPI, credit card, and debit card through any branch of State Bank of India. 

Note: The online application form will be considered completed only after the payment of fees. The last date to make the payment of fees is 27 June 2022.The candidates must upload a scanned copy of passport size photo( not older than 3 months), signature, 10th standard certificate, and qualifying exam certificate to complete the form. The supported file formats are .jpg, .png and .gif only and the file size should be up to 100 kb only.
