Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national-level exam held by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) twice a year to decide the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers in Classes 1-8. CTET exam is of two types one is CTET Paper 1 and the other one is CTET Paper 2. The aspirant who wishes to teach Classes 1-5 should take Paper-I and candidates who wish to teach classes 6-8 should take Paper-II. Candidates who wish to teach Classes 1-8 need to pursue both papers. Both CTET 1 and CTET 2 papers are conducted offline.

CTET 2019 Exam Analysis
CTET 2019 paper-I was successfully conducted from 9:30 AM-12 Noon on December 8. CTET paper-I was from Moderate to Easy but lengthy. Most of the aspirants could not complete the paper on time.
- The Child Development & Pedagogy section of CTET paper-I was of moderate difficulty level.
- The mathematics section was moderate to easy.
- In the Hindi section, some questions came outside of the syllabus.
- Hindi and English Pedagogy sections also of easy to moderate difficulty level.
CTET 2019 paper-II was held in the second shift from 2-4:30 PM on December 8. The difficulty level of Paper 2 was moderate and there were many tricky questions in the exam.
- The Child Pedagogy section was very easy.
- In the languages section, Hindi a bit tough as these days we are more skewed towards English.
- Questions from the Social Science subject were a bit tough.
