DHFW Punjab Medical Officer Eligibility Criteria (Age & Qualification)

Age Limit:

Age limit for candidates applying for this exam should be between 18 and 37 years as on 23rd April, 2021.

Educational Qualification:

• M.B.B.S. Degree and holding a Postgraduate degree in requisite specialty, recognized by the Medical Council of India.

• Registered with the Punjab Medical Council or with any other duly constituted Medical Council in India.

DHFW Punjab Medical Officer Selection Procedure

Eligible candidates will go through the walk-in interview, where they’ll be assessed on the basis of personal interview and document verification. The selection will be based on the interview and academic performance. Personal interview will carry 50% weightage, while academic qualification will carry 50%  weightage. 

DHFW Punjab Medical Officer Salary Details

The candidates are hereby informed that as per the government of Punjab Department of Health and Family welfare etter file no. HFW-HLH5015B/2/2020-2H5 1/56788/2020, dated 29-07-2020 now the newly selected candidates will be paid pay and emoluments as per 7th Central Pay Commission Rs. 53100 Level 10 as per Pay Matrix Table.
