The candidates can check the exam dates, eligibility criteria, age limit, and more from the IBPS RRB 2021 notification. IBPS RRB Online Form 2021: Application Process
All candidates can apply online for IBPS RRB 2021 Office Assistant (Clerk), Officer Scale-I (PO) and Officer Scale-II and III by clicking on the link mentioned below:
Step 1: Click on the link mentioned above.
Step 2: Candidates applying for Officer Scale I are required to click on the first link, candidates applying for the Officer Scale-II and III are required to click on the second link, candidates are applying for office assistant post are required to click on the third link.
Step 3: Read the instructions provided before applying for any of the three exams.

Step 4: Fill in your basic information and click on Save and Next option.
Step 5: You are now required to upload your photograph and signature. The size of the photograph must be 4.5 cm* 3.5 cm. The photograph must be of passport size and the signature must be clear and legible.The file size of the photograph must be of a minimum20 KB and of a maximum of 50 KB. File size for signature must be of a minimum of 10 KB and of maximum 20 KB.
Step 6: Click on the Next button after uploading your photograph and signature.
Step 7: You are required to fill in your basic details. There are three sections that need to be completed in this portion of the application process.
After you have filled in your basic details, you are required to fill in your Educational Qualifications. Once you are done with this, you are required to fill in the preference list.
In the preference, the list mentions the name of RRB's in sequence. You need to select the Bank in order of preferences. There is no limit to choices made by a candidate.
Step 8: After the choices have been made, click on save, and next.
Step 9: A preview of your application appears before you. In case you find any error, you can edit the information. Once the data is uploaded and saved, you are not allowed to make any changes in the form, whatsoever. Therefore, kindly review all the details while filling in the application form.
Step 10: Finally, select the payment method to fill in the application fee. All payment is done online. Candidates can pay the Application fee through either Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.
Step 11: Click on Submit button. Your application will be successfully submitted.

Ques1. May I know the reason of the slow loading of the IBPS RRB application form?
Ans. In case an applicant experience slow loading of an application form then first of all one should check the speed of the internet. The other reason could be more traffic of applicants at the same time to apply for the posts. In that event one can try after a gap of 15-20 minutes.
Ques2. How to know that the application has been submitted successfully?
Ans. The moment candidate fills the application and submit the required details, registration portal sends a provisional registration number and password. This information is shared through email and SMS to the email account and mobile number used for the registration.
Ques3. Is it possible to edit the registration data after the successful submission of the application?
Ans. No, candidates cannot edit the registration data after the successful submission of their application.
Ques4. What should I do if online fee payment is not done successfully at the portal?
Ans. In case the online transaction could not be done successfully completed then it is advisable to login again with the required registration number and password and try paying it again. Sometimes online transaction fails due to low server either from your end or at the portal end.
Ques5. When can I take the printout of the application form and e-receipt?
Ans. Candidates can take the printout of the application and e-receipt within a specified time period which is mentioned in the website. After the expiry of the download date one cannot take the printouts of the application form.
Ques6. What should I do if I have not received the registration confirmation?
Ans. Registration confirmation emails are auto-generated and sometimes they are taken in the spam folder of email. It is advisable to check the spam folder or blocked messages. They ought to be received in the mailbox. There is no need to reply or send a mail for such auto-generated messages.
Ques7. How to change the data entered in IBPS RRB application form?
Ans. Data can be edited in the application form within the prescribed application time limit.
Ques8. Is it possible to put the signature in capital letters?
Ans. No, applicants cannot put their signature in capital letters.
Ques9. What should I do if after filling up the complete application form, I get Blank Screen / Internet got disconnected / My PC closed/ hanged / shutdown? How to know the status of my application?
Ans. If the internet got disconnected after completing the entire application form, try to login to the portal. If you are not able to access the application form after the login then you have to do it again.

Ans. Office Assistant (Multipurpose): A graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Officer Scale-I: A graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent Officer Scale-II: A graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Officer Scale-III: A graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Ques19. What is the application fee for RRB?
Ans. The Application fee is Rs. 175/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates whereas it is Rs 850/- for all other candidates. It is important to note that a person applying for both posts has to pay separately for each post.
Ques20. Is knowledge of local language mandatory for candidates apply from a particular state?
Ans. Yes, the knowledge of the local language of the State or Union Territory (he/she wishes to apply) is mandatory for the candidates who are applying for the posts of Officer Scale I and Office Assistants – (Multipurpose). Candidates who have studied the local language in 8th grade or above 8th grade from a Government approved board would be considered proficient in that language. However, those who do not meet this requirement will be given a time of six months from the date of joining the RRB to acquire proficiency.
Ques21. When will the registration commence?
Ans. The registrations will commence from 8th June 2021 to 28th June 2021.
Ques22. Is the exam bilingual?
Ans. All the sections except the Hindi and English Language sections in regional languages.
Ques23. Is there a sectional cut off?
Ans. Yes, each candidate is required to obtain a minimum score in each section of the Main examinations of IBPS RRB Office Scale-1 and Office Assistant and in single exams of Officer.
Ques24. Is there a penalty for wrong answers?
Ans. Yes, for each wrong answer one-fourth of the marks allotted to that question will be deducted. However, there will be no deduction if the question is left unanswered.
Ques25. Will there be an interview after the written exam?
Ans. There will be an interview for the posts of Officer Scale – 1, 2, and 3. However, there is no interview for the Post Office Assistant. Candidates applying for Office Assistant post will be provisionally allotted on basis of marks obtained in the main exam and the vacancies.
Ques26. I am in my final year of graduation, can I apply for IBPS RRB?
Ans. Final year candidates are also eligible to apply, however, they can only apply provisionally. IBPS RRB‘s official notification specifies a date before which the student in the final year has to produce his/her passing mark sheet or proof of passing the graduation exam.
Ques27. What percentage is required in graduation for the IBPS RRB exam?
Ans. Percentage in graduation is not considered in the eligibility criteria for IBPS RRB exams. A candidate only needs to have a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
Ques28. If I am from a particular state, can I select a different state to apply to?
Ans. Yes, you can. If you’re applying for the posts of Officer Scale-1 and Office Assistant, the names of RRBs for giving the order of preference will be available based on the state which you select to apply for. You will however have to select the center of exam in that state only.
Ques29. Can I make changes in the application form after submission?
Ans. No, Particulars mentioned in the online application will be considered final and no change/modifications will be allowed after submission of the online application form. Hence the application needs to be filled with utmost care.
Ques30. On which date the RRB exam is scheduled?
Ans. A preliminary Online examination is usually held in the month of September.
Ques31. Is 60% necessary in graduation to become an IBPS RRB?
Ans. No, 60% in graduation is not necessary to appear for IBPS RRB exams. Percentage in graduation is not considered in the eligibility criteria for IBPS RRB exams.
