Railway Coaching in Chandigarh
Indian Railways is the second largest railway system in the world. It is divided into 16 zones headed by a General Manager. Every zone is divided into different divisions and each division is headed by a Divisional Railway Manager.
RRB assists to fill various vacancies of Railway Department from time to time. RRBs are the Railways Recruitment boards who conduct Common Written Exam to appoint new employees for Indian Railways Department. These boards are associated with the Government of India. RRBs have 21 boards all over India to conduct exams for various posts which are divided into four groups as:
- Group A
- Group B
- Group C
- Group D
Group Recruitments are done through the Civil Services Examination and Combined Engineering Services examination. These examinations are held every year
The selection process consists of three steps:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TESTS (PET)
- Document Verification and Empanelling of selected Candidates

Negative Marking: There will be negative marking in this test where a penalty of 1/3rd of the marks will be marked for each wrong answer.
- PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TESTS (PET):
Candidates who will qualify CBT will be called for PET. The merit list will be prepared for the number of candidates which will be two times the community wise total vacancy of the posts released in RRBs. It is necessary to qualify PET as it is a qualifying test for the posts notified by RRBs.

Note: Candidates with disabilities will not be allowed to appear in PET. Such candidates have to pass medical examination according to their respective Disabilities.
- Document Verification and Empanelling of selected Candidates:
The candidates who will clear CBT and PET will be called for Document verification and followed by joining.
