Life Insurance Corporation of India has released the Recruitment notification (LIC Assistant 2019) for eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Assistant. The application is going to start from 17- September-2019 and will close on 01- October - 2019. To score well in this examination, it is important for a candidate to have the knowledge of the exam pattern of Examination. Below is the Exam pattern of the LIC Assistant exam. The candidates will be able to apply online through LIC Official website from 17- September-2019 to 01- October - 2019.
LIC Assistant Exam Pattern 2019
LIC Assistant 2009 will be conducted in two phases: Prelims and Mains.
LIC Assistant 2019- Preliminary Examination
The Written Exam will contain 3 sections namely: Reasoning, English Language / Hindi Language, Quantitative Aptitude. The total duration of the written exam will be 1 hours or 60 minutes. 0.25 marks will be deducted if a candidate attempts a question wrong. Preliminary Examination consisting of objective test will be conducted online. The test will have three sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

- Main examination will consist of objective tests for 200 marks.
- The objective test will be conducted in online mode. The objective test will have separate timing for every section.
- Qualification of Preliminary exam is essential to appear for the Mains Exam. However, the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be combined with Mains for selection and final selection will be based on the marks obtained by a candidate in Main Examination (Phase II)
- There will be negative marks of ¼ marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests for the main examination
