Eligibility Criteria for the SSC JE follows the two requisites one is age limit and other is the educational qualification.

SSC JE 2022 Exam Pattern
1. Paper – I, which is the first phase of the selection process, is an Objective Type Computer Based Test.
2. Paper – II, which is the second stage, is a Descriptive Type Written Test.

Key Points To Remember Regarding SSC JE Exam Pattern For Paper – I
-
General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness sections will be common for all three streams.
-
In the General Engineering section, candidates have to attempt the sections as per their branches (i.e., either civil or mechanical or electrical).
-
Candidates have to complete Paper – I in 2 hours (120 minutes).
-
0.25 % marks will be deducted for every wrong attempt.
-
1 mark will be given for each right attempt.
-
If the candidate does not attempt the General Engineering section as per the instructions given in Paper – I, then his answer sheet will not be evaluated by the board.

Candidates who qualify in Paper – I are eligible to appear for Paper 2.

There will be three parts in Paper-II under General Engineering, and candidates have to attempt them as per their branch.

If the candidates have attempted a part other then instructed then his answer sheet will not be evaluated by SSC

Follow these steps to apply for SSC JE online:

First of all, log in to the official website http://ssc.nic.in

Register as a new user at the website which can be created by using a valid email ID and phone number. You will get the OTP for the required ID you want to generate for the SSC portal.

After you click on the Apply button, you will get the application form, fill it online.

You need to have the scanned copies of the recent passport size photograph, signature, and thumb impression to fill the application.

You can pay the application fee online or through a Challan which will be generated after you have filled in the required application for SSC JE Exam.

After registration click on the Apply button to get the application submitted to the portal.

Then click on the Submit button after cross-checking the details or else you will not be able to make any changes afterward.

Staff Selection Commission has released Junior Engineer, SSC JE Result 2018. SSC JE Exam was conducted between 23rd to 27th September 2019.SSC JE exam result will be released by the commission soon after the exam is held. Overall Analysis
SSC JE 2017-18 Exam was easy. Candidates shared that a large number of questions across all the sections were easy to attempt and only a small percentage was difficult.
Section-wise Analysis

Ans: Three years Diploma or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an institution recognized by the Central Government or State Government. Also, a Diploma degree from Private or govt. Institutions are valid. Moreover, Correspondence Diploma certificates are also valid from recognized institutions. Diploma Equivalent courses done by EX Servicemen from Armed forces are valid too for SSC-JE apply online.

Ans: Candidates with lateral entries after 10+2 will be eligible as they have the same Diploma degree as others.

Ans: No there is no Negative checking in the regular answer sheet of the SSC-JE exam.
Ques. 12 Do I get ready for GATE or different exams in parallel with JE arrangements?
Ans: If you have a 4-year degree then you may set up another exam in parallel. In any case, the case of SSC-JE paper is out and out not quite the same as GATE or IES.
