Eligibility Criteria SSC MTS 2022
There are three key criteria that a candidate is required to be performed to apply for the SSC MTS 2022 Exam.

Age:
A candidate must have acquired a minimum of 18 years of age and should not exceed 25 years of age as on 01.January.2022. (i.e. candidates born not before 02-08-1994 and not later than 01-08-2001)

SSC MTS 2022 Exam Pattern
The examination of SSC MTS 2022 will be comprised of 3 different levels: Paper-1, Paper-2 (Descriptive Test) & Paper-3 (Skill Test). Paper-1 is conducted online where objective-type questions are asked. Paper 2 is a subjective paper in pen and paper mode. It is a paper to examine the language proficiency in English or any regional language required as per the official notification. Paper III comprises of skill test which is conducted according to the candidate’s convenience.

SSC MTS 2022 Salary

SSC MTS salary is designed as Gross Salary & Cash in Hand. After the implementation of 7th pay commission, there is an increase of nearly 20% in every public sector job.

Multi-Tasking Staff is a wide-ranging central service group ‘C’ non-gazetted, a non-ministerial post which is listed under Payscale-1 (Rs.5200 – 20200) + Grade Pay Rs.1800. However, the net salary of MTS ranges between Rs.20,000 – 24,000 /month (approx). The salary varies somewhat on location, allowances, etc.

Every Promotion under the SSC MTS Grade Pay is given promotion as per the following norms:

First Promotion: Rs. 1900/- after 3 years of service.

Second Promotion: Rs. 2000/- after 3 years of service.

Third Promotion: Rs. 2400/- after 5 years of service.

SSC MTS 2022 Application Fee
Application Fees for general category candidates for SSC MTS 2022 is Rs. 100/-.
Application fees for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Serviceman and female candidates are exempted from application fee payment for SSC MTS 2022 Exam.
Pre - Exam Training
SSC organizes Pre-Exam Training for reserved category candidates and those who are economically backward. It is given free of cost but the DA and TA is not given for attending the classes. There is no fee for the coaching classes held by SSC. Only those can attend the classes who have opted for the same while filling in the application form for SSC MTS Exam.
Interview Details
There is no interview held for SSC MTS candidates as it is a clerical level exam and the government has waived the interview session for the posts under SSC MTS Exam. There is only document verification after one qualifies all the phases of the exam pattern

Previous Cut-Off 2022
The Cut-off for SSC MTS 2022 will be declared once the examination for the same is conducted and the result has been declared. There will be separate category-wise, State/UT-wise cut-offs in Paper-1. The commission may fix the separate cut-off for different age groups viz.18 to 25 years and (ii) 18 to 27 years. The Cut-Off will depend upon the level of difficulty of the SSC MTS 2022 Exam as well as the number of candidates appearing for the exam.

Cutoff of Tier-II SSC MTS 2016-17
Aspirants who qualified for Paper I are required to take Paper II which was held on 28-1-2018 with1,43,657 candidates.
Paper 2 had descriptive and was of qualifying nature.

Ans: The Computer Based Examination (Tier-I) will be announced soon.
Ques 3. What is the SSC MTS Age criterion for various posts?
Ans: The age criteria for the posts according to the Recruitment Rules of various User Departments are:
(i) 18-25 years as of 01-01-2022 (i.e. candidates born not before 02-08-1994 and not later than 01-08-2001).
(ii) 18-27 years as of 01-01-2022 (i.e. candidates born not before 02-08-1992 and not later than 01-08-2001).
Please make a note that there will be separate category-wise, State/ UT-wise cut-offs in Paper-I. because the vacancies for SSC MTS are in categorized in two age groups i.e. (i) 18 to 25 years and (ii) 18 to 27 years, the Commission may fix separate age group-wise, category-wise, and State/ UT-wise cutoffs in Paper-I.

Ans: Yes, the age relaxation for SSC MTS is with an upper limit for OBC candidates is 3 years.
Ques 5. What is the minimum educational qualification required for SSC MTS Recruitment 2022?
Ans: The minimum educational qualification required for SSC MTS is Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a renowned Board.
Ques 6. What is the maximum date to acquire the minimum educational qualification in the SSC MTS?
Ans: Candidates should have attained the minimum educational qualification on or before 01-07-2022 for SSC MTS 2022.
Ques 7. What is the exam scheme of the SSC MTS examination?
Ans: The SSC MTS examination comprises of a Computer Based Examination (Paper-I) and a Descriptive Paper (Paper-II)
Ques 8. Will, there be any change in the SSC MTS exam pattern?
Ans: Yes, initially the maximum marks for SSC MTS for Tier 1 were 150 for 100 questions but now, the total number of marks is 100 for 100 questions.
Ques 9. Will there be a normalization of marks in the SSC MTS 2022 examination?
Ans: According to the latest notification of SSC MTS 2022, it will follow normalization using a specific formula implemented by the Commission.
Ques 10. Can one have a preference for states in the SSC MTS application form?
Ans: Yes, one can opt for the preferences of States/ UTs, in the order of precedence, in the SSC MTS online application form.
Ques 11. Can one change the preference of states later after the final submission of the SSC MTS application?
Ans: No the Preference of States/ UTs work out by the candidates in the online Application Form will be taken as final and no change will be entertained thereafter.
Ques 12. Is paper-II of the SSC MTS 2022 Exam qualifying in nature?
Ans: Yes, Paper-II is of qualifying nature and is conducted to test elementary language skills. Although, the marks scored by the individuals in Paper-II will be considered to decide merit in case more than one aspirant will score equal normalized marks in Paper-I.
