SSC Steno recruitment will be done through online mode only. Eligible and interested can apply for SSC Steno Jobs 2022 on SSC Website.
SSC activated the Online Application Link for SSC Stenographer 2022 Exam on 20th August 2022. The Last date to apply online is 5th September 2022. All candidates can apply online for SSC Stenographer 2022 Grade C and D Exam by clicking on the link provided below:

Education Qualification(As on 01.01.2022)
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or any equivalent exam from a recognized board or university.
- Candidates appearing in the final year from the Board/University to prove the same can also apply for the exam.

Candidates belonging to any of the following nationalities can apply for SSC Stenographer 2022:

- Candidates who opt to take the Stenography Test in Hindi will be required to learn English Stenography and vice versa after their appointment, failing which their probation may not be cleared by appointing departments. Candidates have to work as English/ Hindi stenographers as per the functional requirement of the User Office irrespective of the medium of Skill Test of candidate during the examination.
- The skill test will be held at the Commission’s Regional/ Sub Regional Offices or at other Centre(s) as may be decided by the Commission.
- Detailed instructions regarding Skill Test will be sent by the concerned Regional/ Sub Regional Offices of the Commission to the candidates called for the Skill Test.

Syllabus of SSC Stenographer C & D Written Exam
SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Skill Test
- 80 words per minute (w.p.m.) for the post of Stenographer Grade D and
- 100 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade C.
There is no interview conducted for SSC Stenographer Exam. It has objective and descriptive exam pattern. On the basis of the same merit is generated and the candidates who successfully clear all the phases are appointed for the post in the requisite Government Department or Ministry.

Step 1: First of all log on to the official website http://ssc.nic.in
Step 2: Register as a new user at the website which can be created by using a valid email ID and phone number. You will get OTP of the required ID you want to generate for SSC portal.
Step 3: You can pay the application online or through a Challan which will be generated after you have filled in the required application of the SSC Stenographer 2022 Exam.
Step 4: You need to have the scanned copies of the recent passport size photograph, signature, and thumb impression to fill the application.
Step 5: After registration click on the Apply button to get the application submitted to the portal.
Step 6: After you click on Apply button you will get the application form, fill it online.

The Application Fee for SSC Stenographer 2022 is Rs. 100/-(for General and OBC). Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen category as well as female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee for SSC Stenographer 2022.
The admit card for SSC Stenographer 2022 will be released after the application process for the same has ended. The admit card for SSC Stenographer 2022 Skill Test will be issued to candidates who qualify the CBT exam of the SSC Stenographer 2022 Exam.

SSC Stenographer C & D Final Answer Key Out
Final Answer Key for SSC Stenographer 'C' & 'D' examination will be released by the Staff Selection Commission on its official website. Those Candidates who appeared for the examinations are requested to visit ssc.nic.in and check the answer key. With the final answer key, SSC has also released the question paper.
SSC Stenographer 'C' & 'D' 2018 Revised Final Result
The final result of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2018 declared by the Staff Selection Commission on 28.11.2020. In the said result, 473 candidates were provisionally selected for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 991 Candidates were provisionally selected for Stenographer Grade ‘D’. Some of the aspirants put objections with respect to inconsistency in the final result of the examination. Some issues in the final result were reported by the Central Region of SSC. The commission examined these issues and corrective action has been taken and the final result of 19 candidates has now been revised.
