Female candidate should have attained the age of 18 as on July 01, 2018 and not more than 25 years of age i.e she should not be born before July 02, 1993 and after 01, July 2000.
Male candidate should have attained the age of 18 years as on July 01, 2018 and not more than 25 years of age i.e he should not have born before July 02, 1996 and after 01, July 2000.
Candidate should have passed Senior Secondary Exam i.e. 12th std. or its equivalent exam from a recognized Board or Institution.

Result - UP Police 2021
UPPRPB releases the result of UP Police on their official website. The information comprises marks obtained by the aspirant in the written examination and the relevant status. The candidates who will qualify for the written exam will be eligible for the next phase of the selection process. The next phase is Document verification. The merit list prepared by the Board will finally decide the selection of the candidate and those satisfying the entire eligibility criterion as mentioned in the official notification.
The selection of candidates will be done mainly on the basis of the written examination, verification of documents and physical standard tests, physical fitness tests, and the selection and final qualification lists. The candidates who will qualify the required phases of the examination will then be appointed for the approved post.
A. Written Examination –
It will be held by issuing an admit card to the registered candidates appearing in the written examination. The written exam comprises MCQ questions from General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability. The total marks of the exam will be 300 for UP Police Constable.
B. Document Verification:
The candidates who will qualify the written examination will then be called for document verification and physical standard tests. Finally, the Board will decide the total number of vacancies and vacancies depending upon the merit list prepared thereon.
The successful candidates need to produce the following documents at the time of verification:
- Certificate of Class 10 and 12th or its equivalent examination certificate as proof for the qualification mentioned in the application form and the Date of Birth.
- Desired qualification records (if any) :
- ‘O level certificate in computer from DOEACC / NIELIT Society OR
- Two-year service certificate in regional service OR
- National Cadet Corps ‘B’ Certificate
- The candidates looking for reservation and age relaxation benefits have to produce the following documents (if applicable):
- Original residence certificate of Uttar Pradesh
- Caste certificate to support the reservation benefit
- Candidates who are the dependents of freedom fighters must possess a certificate issued by the state government in the approved format.
- Ex-servicemen must possess a unit discharge certificate, no objection certificate by the unit commandant, Indian special army certificate of education issued.
- District commandant, home guards must have an issued service certificate. The home guard should have completed at least 3 years of service as of the last date of application
- A certificate in support of the age relaxation should have been issued by the working staff of Uttar Pradesh state.

Physical Efficiency Test of UP Police SI 2021
After the successful verification of the document and Physical Standard Test, the candidates will be called for a physical efficiency test. It is a qualifying exam.
To qualify for the physical fitness test, it is mandatory to fulfill the following tasks:
- For Male Candidates-Successful Completion of a race of 4.8 km in a maximum of 25 minutes
- For Female Candidates-To completes a race of 2.4 km in a maximum of 14 minutes.
UP Police SI Final Merit List 2021
A final list of the selected candidates in the physical efficiency test will be prepared to keep in view the reservation policy. Thereafter, the final merit list will be sent to the Head of the Department. The Recruitment Authority will issue appointment letters subject to the medical examination of the candidates and further officially approved by the Head of the Departments and the character verification.
